Miss Universe International delegates from over 20 countries said that they are proud to visit Cambodia, especially Siem Reap, home to the famous Angkor temples, and pledged to use their own social media networks to promote Cambodia's tourism.

They made the remarks yesterday during their visit to Siem Reap province to attend the Rice Festival, scheduled from Jan. 27 to 29 at Preah Reach Damnak Garden along its riverside.

Miss Universe International delegates shared the same comments that Cambodia is a place where they feel warm, the people are friendly, and Cambodia, particularly Siem Reap, is really beautiful.

According to Mr. Philip Kao, President of Siem Reap Tourism Club Association, the presence of Miss Universe International delegates in Siem Reap is very important to contribute to the promotion of the cultural province’s potential tourist destinations.

At the same time, he added, their presence will also help promote the potential of the rice sector, considered as the “White Gold” of Cambodia.
