The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) have discussed more cooperation on education.

The discussion took place between H.E. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, and Mr. Shi Zhongjun, Secretary General of ACC here in Phnom Penh on April 20.

Both sides talked about the general situation of ACC's education sector, objectives of Cambodia's education development and education cooperation between China-ASEAN and China-Cambodia.

Mr. Shi Zhongjun noted activities including Cambodia-ASEAN youth camping programme, China-ASEAN TVET policy dialogue, digital and economic education, and TVET teacher and student exchange programme for Cambodian students.

He also highlighted research and development in improving education system, building programme for TVET teacher and school management, and conference and workshop for sharing knowledge and experience.

H.E. Hang Chuon Naron encouraged teacher and youth exchange programme, scholarship opportunity, knowledge and experience sharing forum, and IT education, which are priorities for cooperation between ASEAN-China and Cambodia-China on education.
