Minister Highlights Human Resources Development in Context of COVID-19

Minister of Education, Youth and Sports has highlighted the ministry's effort in developing Cambodian human resources in the context of COVID-19.

The Minister H.E. Hang Chuon Naron shared the effort in a meeting with H.E. Hun Many, Chairman of the Commission on Education, Youth, Sports, Cults, Religious Affairs, Culture and Tourism of the National Assembly of Cambodia here in Phnom Penh on Feb. 22.

He outlined the ministry's priorities including new generation school programme implementation, reading and mathematics promotion at primary education, mobilisation of sources as well as engagement of stakeholders for the preparation of digital education, and digital promotion for the 21st century.

H.E. Minister also underlined his team's commitment for the third stage reform to strengthen human resource management, vocational development, annual work assessment, result-based management, institutional reform, and teacher training.

From his end, H.E. Hun Many spoke highly of the ministry's hard work to beef up education during the COVID-19, including reforms to bring Cambodia’s education to a new level.
