MELAKA, The 'Melaka Explorace 2024' treasure hunt to be jointly organised by the Melaka state government and the National News Agency of Malaysia (Bernama) will focus on tourism products and destinations in the state. Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh said apart from tourism products, historical sites and destinations in every district will be promoted or highlighted during the treasure hunt. 'During the (Melaka Explorace) meeting, I have also given suggestions, input and ideas to ensure the Melaka Explorace 2024 gives a big impact to the efforts of the Melaka state government in promoting the Visit Melaka Year 2024 (TMM2024). 'I also want the organisers to ensure a bigger participation and to focus on tourism products in the state, inculcate historical elements and destinations that can propel the signifance of every district. This will help promote the uniqueness available in Melaka,' he said. Ab Rauf expressed his opinion through his official Facebook posting, here today. Earlier, the ch ief minister chaired a Melaka Explorace 2024 Coordination Meeting at Tun Bijasura meeting room of the Chief Minister's Office in Seri Negeri today. The meeting was attended by Melaka Tourism Promotion (BPP) Division general manager Sa'ari Basiron and Bernama Editor-in-Chief Arul Rajoo Durar Raj. The state government has already listed the Melaka Explorace 2024 which will be organised in June or July, in the TMM2024 calendar.
