Cambodian Cycling Federation (CCF) expects to win medals, including at least 1 gold medal, for mountain bike (Eliminate) at the SEA Games 2023 in Cambodia.

The expectation was unveiled by CCF Secretary General Mr. Nou Chamroeun, stressing that the federation prepares 12 Cambodian national cyclists, four of them are female, for the games.

The selected cyclists are training hard at Kulen mountain area where Cambodia will host the sport during the SEA Games 2023.

Mountain bike is one of the 9 disciplines of cycling sports listed for the SEA Games, the secretary general emphasised.

The 9 disciplines include XCO Men-Women, XCO Mix Relay, Men-Women Eliminate, Individual Race Criterium (Men-Women), and Individual Road Race (Men-Women).

The 1 gold medal targeted is in line with medal index set by the Cambodian SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC).
