MAFF and WWF Strengthen Commitment to Community Conservation and Sustainability

Phnom penh: Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, H.E. Dith Tina, and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Director of Conservation Assessment for Southeast Asia, Mr. Chris Howe, met on January 28 to solidify their commitment to supporting community conservation and sustainable development.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Minister highlighted successes in natural resource conservation, specifically emphasizing the importance placed on Mekong River dolphins, which are considered a national treasure of Cambodia and the world. He urged for continued cooperation and partnerships to enhance both conservation and development, aiming for effective results and long-term economic and environmental sustainability.
