KOICA, CAMKAA Hold 1st CLV Knowledge Sharing Seminar

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) from Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam Offices in cooperation with the Cambodia-Korea Alumni Association (CAMKAA) organised “the 1st Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Knowledge Sharing Seminar” at Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh late last week.

The seminar was presided over by Mr. Rho Hyunjun, Country Director of KOICA Cambodia Office, H.E. Im Sour, President of CAMKAA, and Staffs and alumni from KOICA Laos and Vietnam Offices. Additionally, there were around 100 government officials from relevant ministries of Cambodia participating in this seminar.

According to a press release of KOICA Cambodia Office AKP received this afternoon, the seminar was aimed to get together the KOICA’s alumni from Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam to share what they have learnt through KOICA’s support; to know how they have applied what they have learnt to their current situation or workplace; and to strengthen network amongst alumni from the three countries.

The education and culture sharing programmes began with the opening remarks by Mr. Rho Hyunjun, and H.E. Im Sour, then the country introduction videos of Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam, followed by presentations of Climate Change by Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam, Gender Equality by Laos and Vietnam, and presentations of e-government by Cambodia, as well as feedbacks from KOICA directors and alumni representatives and CAMKAA report on 2022.

All participants actively engaged in the seminar and raised questions and opinions on the mentioned topics which led to the fruitful result of the seminar.
