Improvement of Public Health Service in Dangkor District Referral Hospital Discussed

The Phnom Penh municipal administration and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) have discussed a project for improving the public health service in the capital’s Dangkor district referral hospital.

The discussion took place here yesterday afternoon between Phnom Penh Municipal Governor H.E. Khuong Sreng and Mr. RHO Hyun Jun, Country Director of KOICA Cambodia Office.

According to KOICA, the project, proposed by the Phnom Penh municipal administration to the KOICA Cambodia Office for a grant aid, is aimed to strengthen the health system and service of the Dangkor referral hospital of which a population of more than 1 million in the Dangkor district and the neighbouring districts will benefit.

The KOICA Cambodia Office will report the proposal to its headquarters, if the project passes the selection, it will be implemented in Cambodia in 2024, it pointed out.
