His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has extended his congratulations to the People’s Republic of China on its 72nd founding anniversary.
“On the auspicious occasion of the 72nd Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Royal Family and the people of Cambodia join me to convey most sincere congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency and through Your Excellency to all the members of the Communist Party, the State Council, the People’s Liberation Army as well as the brotherly people of China,” wrote the monarch in a recent royal message to Chinese President H.E. Xi Jinping.
“We highly commend Your Excellency’s vision and commitments for building a global community of health for all, and China’s concrete actions to provide two billion doses of vaccines globally this year to over one hundred countries and international organisations to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic,” he added. “We admire China’s success in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.”
The Kingdom of Cambodia will always stand side by side with the People’s Republic of China and adhere to the One China Policy, underlined His Majesty the King, expressing Cambodia’s commitment to maintaining the traditional ties of friendship and cooperation with China, and promoting the building of Cambodia-China Community with Shared Future.
“Her Majesty Queen Mother NORODOM MONINEATH SIHANOUK and I reiterate our deepest gratitude to Your Excellency for welcoming us to have medical check-up and relaxation in China at any time. We treasure the special friendship with Your Excellency and First Lady PENG LIYUAN,” he said.
His Majesty the King also wished H.E. Xi Jinping continued good health and success in leading the People’s Republic of China to great prosperity.
