H.E. Mrs. Men Sam An, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection has received H.E. Le Hoai Trung, Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and Chairman of the CPV Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations.

The meeting took place on August 23 at the Ministry of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection in Phnom Penh.

H.E. Mrs. Men Sam An warmly welcomed the visit of H.E. Le Hoai Trung in Cambodia that cheers the 55th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Vietnam.

The visit will further strengthen and expand the tie of friendship and good collaboration between the two countries, she added.

Cambodia considers Vietnam as a good neighbour of traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation.

H.E. Le Hoai Trung lauded Cambodia's effective containment of the COVID-19 as well as the country's rapid economic recovery.
