Dara Sakor International Airport to Officially Open in Mid-2023

Dara Sakor International Airport in Koh Kong province of Cambodia will be officially open in mid-2023.

Mr. Sok Sothy, Deputy Governor of Koh Kong, shared the update when presenting the province’s five-year work achievements at a press conference organised by the Royal Government Spokesperson Unit of the Office of the Council of Ministers in Phnom Penh on Feb. 22.

According to the deputy governor, Dara Sakor International Airport is 100 percent completed and assessing a workable timing for the opening.

Chinese-owned Union Development Group (UDG) invested US$3.5 billion, for the first phase, to build the airport on 4.5 hectares of land surface in Botom Sakor district, Koh Kong province.
