COVID-19: Zero Community Infection, but 11 Imported Cases

Cambodia detected zero locally transmitted case of COVID-19 for seven days in a row, according to the Ministry of Health’s news release.

This morning, 11 new cases were reported, but they were all imported and Omicron cases; bringing the total Omicron cases in the Kingdom to 123.

Cambodia’s COVID-19 tally thus rose to 120,564.

Meanwhile, 9 new recoveries were recorded with zero new death; the total cured and death cases stood at 116,991 and 3,015, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
