COVID-19: Tally Increases to 93,510 with 455 New Infections

Cambodia this morning reported 455 new cases of COVID-19; bringing the national counts to 93,510, announced the Ministry of Health in a press release.

Of the new confirmed cases, 80 were imported while the rest were linked to the Feb. 20 community outbreak, it said.

Meanwhile, 328 new recoveries, but 13 new deaths were registered; the total recovered and death cases in the Kingdom jumped to 89,114 and 1,916, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 Community Event.
