Ministry of Health this morning announced the recovery of 1,109 more patients from COVID-19; bringing the total cured cases in Cambodia to 32,967.

Meanwhile, the ministry added in its press release, 542 new cases were detected, of which 37 are imported and the rest are community cases linked to the Feb. 20 incident.

The total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Kingdom thus stood at 38,969, it pointed out.

Besides, the death toll rose to 348 with 13 new deaths registered, the same source underlined.

The first COVID-19 case was reported in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The total confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.
