Cambodia’s new COVID-19 cases dropped to 16 this morning; bringing the tally to 120,272, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health.
These are PCR test results, said the same source, pointing out that 4 of them were imported and the rest were linked to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.
Meanwhile, the ministry registered 18 new recoveries, but 3 new deaths (1 of them has not been vaccinated); the total recovered and death cases in the Kingdom increased to 116,627 and 2,963, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 incident.
