COVID-19: 5 New Cases, including 2 Omicron Cases

Cambodia this morning reported five new infections of COVID-19, of which two, imported, were Omicron cases, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health made public this morning.

The national counts thus rose to 120,469, including 19,890 imported cases, the same source pointed out.

Meanwhile, it added, there were 11 new recoveries, but a new death (non vaccinated); bringing the total cured and death cases in the Kingdom to 116,885 and 3,010, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
