COVID-19: 356 New Cases, But Zero New Death

Cambodia this morning reported 356 new cases of COVID-19, all of Omicron variant, of which 342 were locally transmitted and 14 were imported, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health.

The country’s COVID-19 tally thus jumped to 130,276, including 9,823 Omicron cases (8,956 Omicron community cases).

At the same time, 419 COVID-19 patients have recovered, while no new death was recorded for two days in a row; bringing the total cured and death cases in Cambodia to 123,772 and 3,032, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
