Cambodia this morning registered only three new cases of COVID-19, all of locally transmitted Omicron variant, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health.

The tally now stood at 136,257, including 15,804 Omicron cases (14,454 Omicron community cases).

At the same time, the ministry reported 28 more recoveries; bringing the total cured cases in the country to 133,144, while zero new death was announced; the death toll thus remains at 3,056.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
