China to Establish International Economic Strategy Research Institute in Cambodia

China is interested in establishing a high school and an international economic strategy research institute in Cambodia. The intention was unveiled by visiting Ms. Diana Pang, President of the International Economic Strategy Research Institute of the People's Republic of China, during a meeting with H.E. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth, and Sports in Phnom Penh on May 6. Ms. Diana Pang shared some details of the planned establishment of the high school and institute for the minister's cooperation and support. She also hoped to continue providing more scholarships to Cambodian students to study in China. H.E. Hang Chuon Naron appreciated Ms. Diana Pang's initiatives and thanked her for always providing scholarships to Cambodian students so far. This collaboration has been significantly contributing to Cambodia's quality human resources development and speeding up Cambodia's vision to turn the country into an upper middle-income country by 2030, said the deputy minister.
