CAMFOOD & CAMHOTEL Expo Promotes Cambodia’s Culinary and Tourism Economy

Phnom penh: CAMFOOD and CAMHOTEL 2025, an international expo on food and hospitality, kicked off in Phnom Penh, bringing together 300 booths representing nine countries, namely Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, the United States, China, South Korea, Italy, Finland, and Singapore.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the official opening ceremony was held on Oct. 22 under the presidency of H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism. The organisation of the Expo reflects the joint commitment of all stakeholders to contribute to the development of Cambodia’s tourism sector, particularly in promoting the MICE industry (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions), H.E. Huot Hak said.

‘This event serves as a vital platform for both national and international business interactions, attracting investors and global entrepreneurs to explore Cambodia’s tourism investment potential, its favourable business environment, and new supply chain opportunities,’ he underlined.

H.E. Minister also expressed his gratitude to both national and international investors for their firm confidence in Cambodia’s peace, political stability, macroeconomic stability, and strong public security and order.

These are key foundations supporting growth in investment, trade, industry, and agriculture, while also ensuring the resilience and competitiveness of Cambodia’s tourism sector at the regional and global levels, he added.

The international expo will take place until Oct. 25, 2025 at the Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Centre (Koh Pich). The event is expected to attract approximately 12,000 visitors.
