Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has once again highlighted the importance of peace and reiterated the commitment to protect it.

Addressing at the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh's official inauguration ceremony this morning, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said at any cost, the Royal Government has to protect, maintain, and strengthen peace.

“Peace must be strengthened and protected from any hegemony in order to preserve the right to life. If there is a war, this right cannot be implemented,” he underlined.

The Premier said the Royal Government will continue to guarantee peace for the progress of the citizens, households, private sector, etc.

"The development of a country depends on the improvement of the life of each individual citizen, family, the private sector,[…] but this progress must be with full peace,” he stressed.
