Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, said that he himself and his Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) can ensure only the peace without war, but not the peace of mind.

While presiding over the groundbreaking ceremony of a new flyover in Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh this morning, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said he was not able to bring the peace of mind for everyone with different crisis, but he can guarantee the peace from war.

“The peace I refer to is the peace without war, not the peace of mind […] if you do something against the law, you have to face legal procedures,” he explained, underlining that no nation in the world can assure the peace of mind.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen also reacted against some people criticising that Cambodia does not have peace as there are riots, demonstrations, by asking that over the world, where there is no protests and riots.
