Minister of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia H.E. Mrs. Phoeurng Sackona held talks with H.E. Li Qun, Vice Minister for Culture and Tourism of China, on the sidelines of the 45th session of the World Heritage Committee in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

In the meeting, the Cambodian culture minister recalled the traditional ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and spoke highly of China’s contribution to the preservation and restoration of Cambodian ancient temples.

For his part, H.E. Li Qun pledged to examine the possibility to assist Cambodia in enhancing cultural innovation industry.

Both sides agreed to form a joint working group to promote the effectiveness of their working relations.
