Cambodian Acting President of Senate Sends Condolence Message to UK Lord Speaker

Acting President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia has extended his sincere condolences to the Lord McFall of Alcluith, Lord Speaker of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom 

“I am profoundly shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom on 08 September 2022 at 96,” he said in his recent message. 

“On behalf of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia and my own, I would like to express my deepest sympathy and most heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family, Your Excellency and the People of the United Kingdom for an immense loss of the beloved Queen who was an eminent public figure of the nation and the people of the United Kingdom,” he added. 

The noble devotion in accomplishment of duty to serve the public of Her Majesty has brought prosperity and happiness to the People of the United Kingdom as being one of the most civilised nations in the world and has tremendously contributed to the cause of peace, stability, freedom, democracy, rule of law and the global sustainable development, said H.E. Sim Ka, underlining that her extraordinary legacy will be recorded in history and forever remembered.
