Cambodia, WIPO Sign MoU for IP Business Centre Establishment

Cambodia: Cambodia's Minister of Commerce H.E. Mrs. Cham Nimul and H.E. Daren Tang, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish an Intellectual Property (IP) Business Centre. The signing took place following their bilateral meeting at the WIPO Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the MoU is a collaborative effort between the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce and WIPO. The primary aim of this initiative is to support the private sector by enhancing awareness of the benefits of intellectual property. This development signifies a strategic move to boost intellectual property rights understanding and utilization in Cambodia's commercial sector, promoting innovation and growth.
