The Royal Government of Cambodia will recruit 300 young armed personnel for the Air Force, said Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this morning.

The new troops will help enhancing the Royal Cambodian Air Force, underlined the Premier while presiding over a get-together with 1,753 students who got their baccalaureate with grade A in the 2020-2021 academic year, held at Chroy Changvar Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh.

“I’ve just signed a sub-decree to recruit more than 300 troops for our Air Force,” he said.

According to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the new armed personnel will help enhance Cambodia’s strategy for its sky protection called ‘Sky Net’.

Samdech Techo Prime Minister added that the Royal Cambodia Air Force will not need fighter jets, but the country has its own strategy and enough weapons to protect its air space.
