Cambodia has encouraged direct flight connection with France to facilitate mutual tourism movement in a near future.
The intention was underlined by H.E. Thong Khon, Cambodian Minister of Tourism, in a meeting with H.E. Jacques Pellet, newly-appointed Ambassador to France to the Kingdom early this week.
H.E. Thong Khon also thanked France for supporting two tourism vocational training schools in Phnom Penh capital and Preah Sihanouk province which is very helpful for Cambodia’s tourism recovery.
France, he added, has committed US$600,000 to help Cambodia organising the SEA Games 2023.
H.E. Jacques Pellet spoke highly of Cambodia’s effort in fighting against COVID-19, including the vaccination campaign and looked forward to foster Cambodia-France bilateral cooperation, including in tourism.
