Cambodia Cannot Regard COVID-19 As a Normal Flu

Cambodia cannot regard COVID-19 as a normal flu, we all should continue to pay attention to this pandemic, said Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.

“Therefore, we have not yet dropped our prevention efforts against COVID-19”, said the Premier while presiding over the inauguration ceremony of two school buildings and the graduation ceremony of over 4,600 students of the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre this morning.

“If we consider COVID-19 as a normal flu, it is not necessary to call on people to get vaccinated,” he added.

Prevention measures, including vaccination against COVID-19, wearing facemasks, and so on have to continue to be encouraged in the Kingdom, he said.
