The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has approved four new investment projects with a total capital of US$13.9 million.

According to a CDC’s press release made public this morning, the approved investment projects belong to Glory Light (Cambodia) International Co., Ltd., in Phnom Penh capital; J Tex Garment Co., Ltd. in Kampong Speu province; Selly Fashion Garment Factory Co., Ltd. in Kandal province; and SZ Golden Way Textile (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. in Takeo province.

The four investment projects, covering the production of home and office supplies and clothes, will provide nearly 2,874 jobs for the locals, pointed out the same source.

Such investment amid the COVID-19 outbreak demonstrates confidence of investors in Cambodia’s macroeconomic, political and social stability though threatened by the pandemic.
