Cambodia and the People’s Republic of China have signed an Agreement on Dispatching Traditional Chinese Medicine Medical Team Against COVID-19 to Cambodia.

Cambodian Minister of Health H.E. Prof. Mam Bunheng and H.E. Prof. Huang Luqi, Deputy Director of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and President of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences were the signatories at the event here in Phnom Penh yesterday.

H.E. Prof. Mam Bunheng expressed his appreciation of the agreement that will contribute essentially to Cambodia's effort in containing the COVID-19 pandemic.

From his end, H.E. Prof. Huang Luqi spoke highly of the bilateral cooperation between Cambodia and China, especially on health.

The existence of Cambodia-China Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital with modern medical equipment in Cambodia and the planned establishment of COVID-19 treatment centre using traditional Chinese medicine also stand as new achievements from the health bilateral cooperation.
