Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen said the “3 Don’ts, 3 Dos” remains a key preventive measure against the COVID-19 pandemic in Cambodia and vaccines have to be administered to all without discrimination.
Addressing to the closing ceremony of the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports’ annual meeting held at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia here this afternoon, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said mandatory facemask wearing has been lifted for outdoor settings, but the “3 don’ts and 3 dos” measure is still important to prevent the COVID-19 spread.
“Facemask is not mandatory anymore, but I still encouraging all to wear it,” the Premier underlined.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his appreciation as he noted that on the capital’s streets, over 60 percent of people still wear facemasks.
At the same time, the Prime Minister reaffirmed the Royal Government’s commitment to provide COVID-19 vaccines for all the people in Cambodia without discrimination.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen also expressed thanks to all teachers and education staff who have actively carried out the preventive measures against COVID-19 at the educational institutions.
