2021 National Cycling Championship to Start Tomorrow

The 2021 National Cycling Championship will begin on Jan. 11 in Siem Reap province.

Speaking at a recent press conference, Mr. Nou Chamroeun, Secretary General of Cambodian Cycling Federation, said the federation is working hard to strengthen Cambodian cyclist resources and develop their capacity in the sport for the big international contests, especially the SEA Games 2023.

To take place for three days (Jan.11-13), the event will be a major competition preparing the athletes for the SEA Games in 2022 and 2023 in Vietnam and in Cambodia, respectively.

It will also provide the Cambodian team a technical experience to organise the sport when hosting the SEA Games in 2023.

The contest will be divided into two subjects – Road Bike and Mountain Bike.

Road Bike includes Man Junior, Man Elite and Man Master Road Bikes, while Mountain Bike includes Man Junior, Man Elite, Woman and Man Master mountain Bikes.
