A delegation of the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO), led by its Phnom Penh Chief Representative Mr. Masashi Kono, paid a courtesy call on Minister of Commerce H.E. Pan Sorasak, at the ministry office in Phnom Penh yesterday afternoon.
According to a news release of the Ministry of Commerce, the meeting touched on tasks being implemented by JETRO, mainly coordination and promotion of investment in Cambodia.
JETRO is going to lead a group of Japanese companies to visit Cambodia next week to study Cambodia's services sector like catering, hospitality and tourism, said Mr. Masashi Kono.
H.E. Pan Sorasak expressed his warm welcome to the upcoming visit of Japanese companies and noted the growth of Japanese restaurants, which contributes to enhancing food safety in the Kingdom.
