The Council for the Development of Cambodia has endorsed another five investment projects worth about US$21.2 million, according to its recent press release.
The newly approved investments cover the production and manufacturing of garment and footwear, cardboard, and leather materials such as wallet, purse and belt.
Expected to provide some 3,860 job openings, the projects will be located in the suburb of Phnom Penh capital and in the provinces of Kandal and Takeo.
The projects belong to companies including Simon Labels (Cambodia) Branding Solution of US$7.4 million investment, Fu Li Yuan Packaging Materials (Cambodia) of US$3.4 million, Uniwood Shoes Manufacturing of US$5.3 million, Nanlai International (Cambodia) of US$2.2 million, and Vicmark Fashions (Cambodia) of US$2.9 million.
