KOTRA Pledges to Further Strengthen Trade with Cambodia

Visiting delegation of Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) led by its President and CEO Mr. Kwon Pyung-oh paid a courtesy call on Minister of Commerce H.E. Pan Sorasak, at the ministry office Thursday this week.

According to a news release of Ministry of Commerce, H.E Minister expressed his delight for the three-day state visit of H.E. Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea (RoK), in Cambodia, accompanied by Mr. Kwon Pyung-oh, adding that the state visit of RoK's President will help build confidence in Cambodia's political stability among Korean investors and to invest more in the country.

H.E. Minister was optimistic that business forum co-organised by Cambodia and Korea during this state visit would attract more foreign direct investments from Korea and encouraged Korean companies to study and find Cambodian business partners to do business together.

Mr. Kwon Pyung-oh thanked H.E. Minister for his hospitality, adding that two-way business between Cambodia and Korea will be stronger after the state visit.

KOTRA, said Mr. Kwon Pyung-oh, will continue cooperating with the Ministry of Commerce and other business communities to strengthen and attract more Korean investors to Cambodia through signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between KOTRA and Cambodia Chamber of Commerce during the Cambodia-Korea Business Forum.
