Lieutenant General Hun Manet, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) and Commander of Cambodian Army, has held talks with Minister of National Defense H.E. Ng Eng Hen and H.E. Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister of Finance of Singapore.
In his separate meetings recently in Singapore, H.E. Gen. Hun Manet expressed profound thanks to the Singaporean side for their hospitality and sharing of views and experience related to key development works.
H.E. Ng Eng Hen spoke highly of long-lasting relations between Cambodia and Singapore in all sectors, especially in military, and thanked Cambodia for its continuing support to Singapore at both regional and international platforms.
He continued that Cambodia and Singapore will continue working to maintain security and stability in ASEAN region.
H.E. Heng Swee Keat appreciated strong leadership of ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP) by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen bringing about peace, political stability, unity and development.
The RCAF's commander-in-Chief also briefed the Singaporean counterparts on the Royal Government of Cambodia's effort in sustaining values for the country's peace and stability, adding that those values has allowed on-going rapid development of the Kingdom.
