Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will address the human rights situation in Cambodia at the UN Office in Geneva, Switzerland this week.
While presiding over a ceremony to transfer the management of Krousar Thmey Organisation's special schools for deaf or blind children to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the official inauguration of the National Institute for Special Education here this morning, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said he will deliver a keynote address on the progress of human rights in Cambodia, at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights on July 4.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen also expressed his wish to invite Krousar Thmey Organisation's founder, Mr. BenoA�t DUCHATEAU-ARMINJON to attend this event with him because he is a living witness of the fact that the Cambodian people have benefitted from the development in Cambodia since 1991.
According to the Cambodian Premier, human rights does not exist neither during war time nor under bombing and daily killing. If we talk about progress, we must look back to 40 years ago and compare , he underlined.
