Cambodian E-sports Team Wins 3rd Place at Gamers 8 IESF Asian Championship

The Cambodian e-sports team "Angkor Warriors" has won 3rd place for Mobile Legend Bang Bang at the Gamers 8 IESF Asian Championship in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The update was shared by Mr. Chean Chanra, Deputy Secretary General of the E-sports Federation of Cambodia, adding that the Cambodian team defeated the Arabic and Nepali teams 2:0 and lost to the Mongolian team 2:0 in the semi-final round.

In the Upper Bracket round, Cambodia lost to the Philippines 2:0, beat Kazakhstan 2:0, and lost to Mongolia 1:2 in the qualified round, earning 3rd place, said Mr. Chean Chanra.

The Gamers 8 IESF Asian Championship took place from July 8 to 14 with the participation of athletes from eight countries, and it is a part of the qualifying competition for the IESF 15th World E-sports Championships.

Cambodia, along with the Philippines, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and Arabs, will continue to the IESF 15th World E-Sports Championships to be held from Aug. 25 to Sept. 3 in Iasi, Romania.
