Cambodia, UK Discussed Illegal Wildlife Trade Crackdown

Cambodia and United Kingdom have discussed their collaboration to crackdown illegal wildlife trade.

This was the top agenda during the recent meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng and newly appointed British Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Ms. Tina Susan Redshaw.

In the discussion taking place at the ministry office here in Phnom Penh, Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng appreciated the UK diplomat for the intention to support Cambodia in the issue.

Warmly welcoming H.E. Ms. Tina Susan Redshaw for her mission in Cambodia, the deputy prime minister also considered her invitation for him to join Illegal Wildlife Trade Conference in London in October 2018.

The discussion of the two sides also touched on joint effort to promote women's education and leadership, policy cooperation, bilateral trade and beyond.
