Cambodia Condemns Terrorist Attack in Egypt

Cambodia's Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Prak Sokhonn has sent a condolence letter to his Egyptian counterpart H.E. Sameh Hassan Shoukry over last Friday's terrorist attack on a mosque in Northern Sinai of Egypt.

I am deeply shocked by the atrocious terrorist attack on 24 November 2017 on al-Rawdah Sufi mosque in Northern Sinai of Egypt, which killed over 300 innocent people and injured about 120 others, said H.E. Prak Sokhonn in his letter dated Nov. 27.

Cambodia condemns this dastardly terrorist attack and any other act of terror and hatred in all its forms and manifestations, he underlined.

On behalf of the Royal Government and the people of Cambodia, I would like to share the grief and sorrow with Egyptian nation and convey my profound condolences and deepest sympathy to the bereaved families for the losses of their loved ones and my wishes to the wounded for their quick recovery, said the Cambodian top diplomat.
