Cambodian Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transports H.E. Sun Chanthol receives here late last week a senior delegation from the Neighboring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) led by its President Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks.
According to a news release of the Ministry of Public Works and Transports, both sides discussed the procedures that could speed up Stung Bot international border checkpoint project, under the concessional loan agreement between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Kingdom of Cambodia.
They anticipated that the groundbreaking of the construction project will take place in December 2018.
The discussion also touched upon technical assistance from NEDA for the improvement project of National Road No. 67 from Siem Reap to Along Veng and further to Choam Sa Ngam, at the border with Thailand.
H.E. Senior Minister requested that NEDA provide training support on identifying the black-spots along National Road No. 67 and the cause of accidents for the improvement of road alignment or additional installation of road furniture to prevent future accident to road users.
