The Republic of Korea (RoK) will help Cambodia develop its Internet-based employment service system and labour market information (WorkNet).
According to the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training (MoLVT) of Cambodia, both sides signed the Arrangement for Cooperation between MoLVT and the Ministry of Employment and Labour (MOEL) of RoK in the field of Public Employment Service, early this week in Sejong, RoK.
H.E. Ith Samheng, Minister of MoLVT and H.E. Ms. Kim Young-joo, Minister of MOEL, were the signatories.
The US$3.1 million WorkNet project will be carried out by Cambodia's National Employment Agency (NEA) and Korea Employment Information Service (KEIS) for a four-year period, from 2018 to 2021.
