Six more cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) related to the Nov. 28 Community Event (first community outbreak) were reported this afternoon, according to H.E. Ms. Yuok Sambath, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Health.
The new cases were found at Pedro Store on Sihanouk Blvd. in Phnom Penh, she pointed out.
With the new cases, the tally rose to 341, of them 304 have been successfully recovered, with no fatal case.
The Ministry of Health urged proper and strict quarantine and continued respect of safety measures in order to prevent large-scale community transmission in the country.
The ministry also called on those coming in contact with the Nov. 28 Community Event to do the second test on Dec. 8 at different places: Ministry of Interior, National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh and provincial health departments.
