New Imported COVID-19 Case Detected; Tally 275

Cambodia reported a new imported case of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the tally thus rose to 275, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health made public this morning.
The new positive case is a 54-year-old British man coming from the United Kingdom via the Netherlands and South Korea. He arrived in Cambodia on Sept. 11, and was now admitted to the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital in Phnom Penh.
The other multi-national passengers on the same flight tested negative for the deadly virus have been put in 14-day quarantine.
The total 275 confirmed cases in the Kingdom include 174 Cambodians, 41 French, 17 Chinese, 13 Malaysians, 8 Indonesians, 7 Americans, 6 British, 3 Vietnamese, 3 Canadians, 1 Belgian, 1 Indian, and 1 Kazakhstani.
Of them, 274 or 99.64 percent have been successfully recovered.
Since the first case detected in Preah Sihanouk province in late January, the COVID-19 pandemic has hit 13 provinces and capital of Cambodia.
