Cambodian tourists travelling overseas spent about US$600 million in 2016, according to local media report that cited a recent online update by Minister of Tourism H.E. Thong Khon.
The total amount is 25 percent higher than that of 2015. In average an individual Cambodian spent around US$500 per overseas trip last year - added the source.
Half of the travelers toured Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and Singapore, while other half mostly went to Thailand and Vietnam for both health-check and visit.
