Tourism Marketing and Promotion Board has discussed further adjustment of Cambodia's tourism strategy to be vigilant to the happening trade war between China and the U.S.
Taking place yesterday at the ministry here in Phnom Penh, the discussion was chaired by tourism minister H.E. Thong Khon.
According to the minister the trade war is changing tourism landscape of the world as well as Cambodia, and to ensure growth of the industry a responsive strategy is needed.
To succeed, he added, Cambodia needs well targeted advertising to attract quality and effective visitors to the Kingdom.
While considering China as a huge potential tourism market for Cambodia, the board also touched on the advertisement and promotion for other tourists from ASEAN, Asia, Europe, and the United State of America.
