Koh Kong To Host 2018 Sea Festival

Cambodia is going to celebrate this year's Sea Festival from Dec. 14 to 16 in Koh Kong province � one of the country's coastal tourist attraction located about 270 kilometres west of Phnom Penh capital.

The set timing was shared recently in a coordination letter from the Minister of Tourism H.E. Thong Khon to Koh Kong Provincial Governor H.E. Mrs. Mithona Phouthorng.

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and his spouse will preside over the official opening of the 7th Sea Festival.

Last year's Sea Festival was organised in Kep province with participation from 500,000 foreign and local tourists.

The Sea Festival is celebrated annually on a rotation basis in the four coastal provinces of Cambodia, including Preah Sihanouk, Koh Kong, Kep and Kampot.
