Cambodia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and visiting UK minister have exchanged mutual appreciation of bilateral cooperation.
Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and the Minister of State for Asia and the Pacific of the United Kingdom H.E. Mark Field formulated the spirit during their meeting yesterday here in Phnom Penh.
H.E. Mark Field underlined Cambodia-UK strong collaboration, adding that his government has been working hard to be a good partner of ASEAN, including Cambodia.
For his part, Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng spoke highly of H.E. Mark Field's visit to Cambodia and thanked UK government for various assistances to Cambodia, particularly in mine clearance and education.
The deputy prime minister also responded positively to the UK's invitation for him to join Illegal Wildlife Trade Conference to be held in London in October, considering it a collective effort for wildlife conservation as well as environmental development
