Cambodia's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) and World Bank (WB) have met to review the progress in implementation of agricultural sector-related projects supported by WB and the possibility to continue the cooperation.
The meeting was held here on Monday between Minister of MAFF H.E. Veng Sakhon and visiting Mr. Christophe Crepin, Sector Leader, WB's Social, Environmental and Rural Development Unit, East Asia and Pacific region.
According to Mr. Christophe Crepin, WB has almost completed the elaboration new Country Partnership Strategy with Cambodia, and agriculture is one of the prioritised sectors supported by WB.
For his part, H.E. Veng Sakhon thanked WB for its continued support to the development of Cambodia, mainly in agriculture sector, and was optimism that better cooperation between the ministry and WB will further boost the sector.
