Cambodia's Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries H.E. Veng Sakhon this morning participated in the 18th ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry (AMAF) Plus Three Meeting in Hanoi, Vietnam.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' news release, all the AMAF Plus Three ministers kept their attention on food security, rural development, prevention of illegal cross-border agro product export, promotion of public-private partnership in the region in order to expand agro product trade among the ASEAN Plus Three (China, Japan and South Korea) countries.
The three dialogue partners showed their stance to strengthen cooperation with the ASEAN countries, especially to continue supporting the implementation of ASEAN Plus Three Emergency Rice Reserve (APTERR) Agreement, as well as the ASEAN Plus Three Food Security Information System (AFSIS).
